Some day ago the organization E.T.A. announcied a deffinitive cease of hostilities it's not the first time that something similar happens, in 1998 was the last time E.T.A. declered a truce; but there is a difference: then it was a temporary and conditioned truce, now it seems amore deffinitive one. However it should be remenvered that in 1998 the truce didn't mean a real lessening of the political tensions but on the contrary a growing providing the oportunity for the different internationals contrarys to interbene in the situation and being albe to pressure the spanish goverment. the situation in the Perssian Gulf and the Mittle East after the war in Irak and the coming to the goverment of the shiies fraccions in Irak and Palestina has strogli reinforted the Iran role as a regional power.
